Therapeutic Massage
We are very happy to offer massage therapy to our patients. Therapeutic massage is very complimentary to Chiropractic care. Massage therapy is primarily thought of as tool for relaxation and stress reduction. We often associate massage with an indulgence, a time of being pampered and a calm relaxing experience. It is certainly quite effective in reducing stress and promoting muscular and emotional relaxation. There are many other benefits from massage therapy. Receiving regular massage can be an effective tool in reducing anxiety. People suffering from insomnia related to stress can experience benefit from massage therapy. Massage has been shown to be a helpful component in the treatment of headaches. Fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome are often treated with massage as part of the treatment protocol. The treatment of soft tissue strains and other injuries includes massage therapy in many of its protocols. Deep tissue and myofascial release techniques are frequently used in the treatment of soft tissue injuries. The treatment of sports injuries can be enhanced and accelerated with the addition of massage therapy.

She has received additional training many advanced massage techniques including: deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, pre-natal massage, reflexology, sports injuries and cupping.
